All of us, with no covering on our faces, show the shining-greatness of the Lord as in a mirror. All the time we are being changed to look like Him, with more and more of His shining-greatness. This change is from the Lord Who is the Spirit. 

The Good News came to you the same as it is now going out to all the world. Lives are being changed, just as your life was changed the day you heard the Good News. You understood the truth about God's loving favor.

Do your best to add holy living to your faith. Then add to this a better understanding.

God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.

So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen His glory, the glory of the Father's one and only Son.

And since it is through God's kindness, then it is not by their good works. For in that case, God's grace would not be what it really is- free and undeserved.
