"I will be a Father to you. You will be My sons and daughters, says the All-powerful God."

Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.

Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.

So we can say with confidence, "The Lord is my Helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?"

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you."

Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close.
